Edible dried mealworms are made from mature larvae produced strictly in accordance with the Regulations on the Breeding of Edible Yellow Powder Insects(Q/DX 01-2023), and processed through eight processes: sorting, fasting, impurity removal, cleaning, baking, residue removal, sterilization, and packaging.

The protein content of mealworms is more than 50%, and it contains 18 amino acids, including all essential amino acids required by the human body, with a high digestion and absorption rate. About 30% of oils contain over 75% unsaturated fatty acids. In addition, it also contains 5% chitin, major elements such as calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium, and trace mineral elements such as iron, zinc, copper, manganese, cobalt, chromium, selenium, boron, and iodine.  Dried Mealworm is a combination of animal protein, plant-based oils, and chitin, which can truly achieve the pursuit of reasonable diet, balanced nutrition.

In 2017, China implemented Yuegong-365, in which mealworm was selected as a high protein aviation food for astronauts to bring into the spacecraft. The European Commission issued EU Executive Regulation (EU) 2021/882 on June 1, 2021, approving dried mealworms larvae as a new food product for the EU market.
